Friday 15th July
16:00 – BBQ at Vita Villan
Burgers, hotdogs, drinks, Kubb and music on the lawn of Unga Örnar Vita Villan. There is access to the lake and sauna so bring your swimsuit!
Saturday 16th July
14:30 – Gathering outside Laxsjö Church
15:00 – Blessing of Marriage
16:30 – Canapés and welcome drink outside Laxsjö bygdegård!
Let’s toast together with some lovely bubbly and tasty canapes.
17:30 – Food is served!
Buffet from Mobacks; Mixed beetroots with feta and rocket, Risonisallad med baked tomatoes and roasted garlic, Västerbottenpaj, Hot smoked salmon med new potato salad and mustard cream, Elk pastrami, Bulgur salad with baked root vegetables, Mixed leaf salad and Bread.
18:00 – Speeches
19:00 – ANGIE’S SUPER MUSIC QUIZ with prize
Angelika will hold a music quiz <3
20:00 – Games outside and OPEN BAR!
21:30 – Cake and first dance!

Sunday 17th July
11:00 – Waffle and Bubbly Brunch
Waffles, cloudberry jam and bubbly is served at Vita Villan.
Travel

Drive – It’s around 7 hours from Stockholm. It’s useful to have a car while in Laxsjö to get around.
Fly – SAS fly from Stockholm to Åre / Östersund (OSD) airport, which is about 1 hour’s drive to Laxsjö.
Train – There is a speed train available from Stockholm C towards Östersund C station. There is one leaving Stockholm Friday morning and one going back around 5 pm Sunday, these are the ones we recommend to fit the wedding schedule. Closest station is actually Krokom which is one more stop on the train. From there its 50min car to Laxsjö. Local buses can take you all the way.
Tickets should be available from mid-March from SJ
Walking – Google says 126 hours non stop walking from Stockholm City, but that might be a bit too much for some…
Accommodation
Laxsjö camping by the lake
It’s just outside the village, a short 10 min walk from the party venue and only a symbolic 50kr per night. There is a beach, volleyball area, a BBQ, swings, table and chairs, changing room and a dass (“toilet”). Space for tents and RVs. Good fishing waters, license available to buy in the shop.
Laxviken fishing & camping
5 min drive from Laxsjö.
They have 3, four-bed each, cabins. They also have a two-bedroom flat in the larger house and camping with electricity. We have inquired about renting all of it for guests, so please get in contact with us if you are interested in staying there.
Big River Hotel & Spa
15 min drive from Laxsjö.
Has a few rooms, several different size cabins, camping, a restaurant & a spa.
Dates for July are not online yet but you can call or email and book.
AIRBNB
Between 5-25 min by car from Laxsjö. These are the ones that are free on the dates of the wedding so book quickly if Airbnb is what you want to do. More might become available. Remember sharing is caring, if you can go a few people together even better :).

Shop
There is a shop, deli, and cafe called Mobacks Kök & skafferi in Laxsjö! So anything you need please try to support local business and buy it from them.
